The INFORM Church

This CD-ROM provides an interactive 3-dimensional view with readily accessible information for those interested in caring for, maintaining and repairing church buildings.

Using gaming technology the INFORM Church gives building owners access to information in a far more dynamic and interactive way.  Users are able to walk around a virtual house and choose which building feature or defects they would like to find out more about.

The INFORM Church, developed for Historic Scotland and Church Buildings Maintenance in Scotland, contains information on a broad variety of materials and building features, ranging from roofs, windows and doors to ceramic tiles, covering topics from timber preservation and fire safety to graffiti removal.
